I need to convert a document from pdf to word, does anybody have any suggestions, although a free download would be nice, I don't mind paying if it is a decent product.

Thanks

I tried that but the document has tables in it but it just transfers the text in a long block and does not transfer the tables.

With the neat tool that is Foxit Editor you won't even need to convert them to word docs. One of the most useful and impressive pieces of office software I have used.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????

I dont think that you can change a PDF to a word document. I think that is the whole thing about PDF's.

To convert from a word document to a pdf I use https://www.pdfonline.com which is a free website. Brilliant!!!

Perhaps there is something on there that can help you.

There is one expensive solution, That is to buy a copy of Adobe Acrobat Writer Professional. This will convert .pdf to .doc. I used it today at work and works a treat.

Not perfect, but you can upload your PDF to Adobe, and they will convert it to HTML. Word can then open the HTML file, and you can Save As .doc. See -

  • How about printing it out, scanning it in and using this http://www.simpleocr.com/

Edit -> Select All -> Copy and then paste in Word works (even in Adobe Acrobat Reader), but if the PDF has embdedded images, charts and otehr formatting it will be all over the place.

The free converters aren't that much better, although you should be able to get most of the content into Word.

The Full Acorbat suite can do it, but is ridicioulsy expensive!!
