ECU reset - Honda Jazz 2003

I have a Honda Jazz which had to be jump started this morning. First time it's happened but the engine management light has come on.

I really don't want to take it to Honda as they charge £90.00 per hour.

Is there an easy way to reset this, ie taking a lead off the battery to reset the ecu etc?

Find the ECU fuse (handbook) & pull it, leave for 5 mins & replace.

Buy a cheap OBDII code reader for next time. You have reset the light but but dont know why it came on in the 1st place.

It could be something that may cost more to fix later on.

If you get anything happen after a jump start, the first thing to always try is a battery disconnect.
