Littlewoods and Very items Not delivered

Just wondering if anyone can help me in the right direction here

Back in October I ordered 2 hoodies fro Littlewoods in different sizes, a Large and a Medium, along with some other clothing. In the package, the Medium was missing. I called them on the same day and informed them and they opened an investigation, saying it would take 4 weeks to complete.

They did send me another medium size a few days later but billed me again for it, but I've only just noticed that they didnt send it on the buy now pay later option which the original order was on, so I'm now paying their high interest.

4 Weeks later I called the Customer Services for an update, I was told to give them another few weeks, which I did, and was then asked to give them a little longer.

I have kept calling them back every few weeks since then through November and December to be told "we are still looking into this"

Eventually in mid January, I was told they had made a credit available in December but it hadn't been applied to my account, but would be on my February statement.

February came, and the item still hadn't been refunded, so I called them back and was told it would definitely be on my March statement. This was generated yesterday, and no surprise it's still not on there.

I called them up today, and the agent told me that it says on his screen that as I haven't contacted them in over 2 months I will need to write in, with 2 copies of official documents with proof of signature to get a refund, and this could take unto 60 days to process !?!?!

And then he said I don't know why it says that because he can see I've been constantly calling them every few weeks.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here - should I invovce the Police in this? As the worrying thing is a similar thing has just happened on my Very account. SOme shoes I ordered are showing as 'Delivered with Signature' but they can't give me a copy of the signature and they certainly haven't been delivered here or to any of my neighbours.

    So I've emailed them as above and also sent a letter of complaint through the postal service, both demanding my money back within 7 days.

    The response (if there is one) will be posted here.

    I don't know whether its posting on here or the strongly worded email I sent, but the item has now been refunded to my account.
