I think many providers currently exclude Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia unless it's progressed to at least a Binet stage AI am a mortgage broker. Hello all
Just a quick 'thank you' to all who responded to my original post and offered some helpful advice. You might be interested to learn that under the conditions of my 1996 critical illness policy, my claim has been successful.
My claim was quite straightforward, it turns out. I completed the requisite form, and attached my own A4 page of details. My consultant and GP supported the claim - I simply let them know when I saw them, and neither of them charged me for their letter.
My only advice to anyone - which perhaps you might want to remind people if you're asked for advice - is to make sure you ask your consultant for a print-out of your ongoing blood tests, etc. because this will really help you complete the forms at home.
Chronic Leukemia is difficult to prognosticate and stage/grade unlike some other cancers - and some new policies are tighter I believe. Anyway - thanks all.
Kind regards0
