Erm, it's your 7th post actually
Look at the links on the left to read Martins thoughts on Insurance and then look at the insurance bar - link at top of page.
Fraid there is no substitute for ringing round for the best quotes every year. The web searches (screen scrapers to give them their correct name) will give you an indication of who may be cheapest but the end price often varies from the quoted price due to the limitations of these systems, e.g. confused.com0 -
And sign up to Quidco.

Churchill, Norwich Union Direct and Direct Line seem to like young drivers so may be worth calling them. Although, any young driver with a claim is gonna bang up the cost - If your claim was a small one it may be cheaper for you to pay the insurer back and get your no claims discount. May be a lot of money but could work out to be cheaper in the long run.0 -
Kwikfit and postoffice car insurance are good, avoid Morethan. Good luck.0

Hi - try ecarinsurance who are usually very cheap at your age and they pay £40.00 via quidco.0

thanks for all your help
currently have policy through ecar. had changed car half way through to Peugeot 206 GTI from a fiat brava.
ecar charged £130 for the last 4 months.
got a renewal price from them of £1605.45.
have since got a price from admiral of £957.00 full comp. also going to try phoning a few brokers near were i live.
does anyone know anywere else who could do it cheap or is this prob going to be the best price.0 -
you could try bell direct or elephant who are not always quoting the sama as admiral.0
-
thanks maclean2.
have tried bell direct and elephant.
Bell asking over 1k.
elephant matches the price admiral offered.0
