Best way to send money abroad

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I need to transfer 150 euro as a deposit for a week in a holiday villa in Spain.
The owner has given me their bank(Spanish) account details.

what is the best way to do this from a british account?

A firm called "TransferWise" looked like the best offer.

Does anyone have experience of using TransferWise?

Yep, unless you're transferring millions, Transferwise is your best bet. I use them now and again and service is spot on with very low fees.

I used Transferwise last year to pay the cost of a holiday rental in Madeira with no problems.

I used TransferWise to pay 150 euro deposit to villa owner in Spain.

The transaction went smoothly.

Exchange rate used was the Visa FX rate for the day of the transaction and I was charged a £1 fee for the service.
