Cowon x7 mp3 player windows 64 bit compatibility

Hi!

Thinking of buying a Cowon X7 mp3 player but someone has told me that it will be incompatible with windows 64-bit operating systems which my laptop has.
Has anyone any experience of this - will the Cowon X7 work with my laptop.

Not sure - that's why I asked the question.
I have looked online now and Cowon's website says they are incompatible with windows 64 bit but other posts elsewhere are mixed on this. Would love to buy one but only if it will work and carry on working with my laptop.

It's a bit late in the day, but just to let you know:

a) it's complete nonsense that it should be incompatible with 64 bit OS's. I am using Windows 8 64 bit, no problem. I use Monkey Media to synch with my Cowon and it works perfectly.

b) if you haven't already bought one, and you like high quality sound, do get one. The interface is appalling, the sound quality superb.
