I recently came across a website called uinvest that you can choose companies to invest shares in through them, and they offer companies and tell you the projections. After endless googling I am no closer to finding out if this is a legitimate company or not, some say it is and some say its not. Is there any way to find out? It's got a registered address in america and a few scans of certificates, and many members who are investing if that is anything to go by. Its company is based in Ukraine but accepts payment methods like paypal. How can I tell? Many thanks guys

What more do you need to know other than what you've already found out?
Would you really send money to a Ukraine company for investments?Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

I guess not but the added sense of security with paypal, and printed certificates of your shares sounds good. If they were a scam how haven't the US started investigating it as a ponzi?0 -

Second one tonight! My new favorite forum is 419eater (Sorry MSE!).
However.......

Looks legit, until you realise the source of the article comes from PRWeb - To quote:Spread your news across the Web and get in front of consumers and journalists, quickly and easily. Just write an anouncement about your organisation -- a promotion, sponsorship, or product launch, for example -- and we'll distribute it to major news sites and search engines, fast.
Did a whois, and came up with this:
Uinvest, Inc.
9595 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 900
Beverly Hills, CA 90212
Toll Free: 1.800.861.UINVEST ( 1800 861 8468 ) - US and Canada
Phone number 310 860 6971
Uinvest LTD
Ukraine, 04116 Kiev
Melnikova, 83
Phone number 0-800-500-179
380-44-2063261
Nice building, but no handy company name plate on the door.
Suite 900 is a virtual office owned by Premier Business Centers, and is just that, virtual. No sign of a physical, actual, company exists.
The Ukraine address is just the business district in Kiev.
Better people than me at this have been discussing the company here. Can't be bothered to read it all myself, sounds like the worlds most dodgy HYIP company!Edible geranium0 -

I wouldn't, but Jegersmart ... well, I'm not so sure!I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.
Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.0 -

I think you may be on the wrong thread or is this a way of increasing attention through duplication?
As stated in the other current thread, I have looked Uinvest and I consider it high risk but I may decide to invest at some point.
I will leave you to bask in the familiar comfort of having your views reinforced by like-minded posters:)
All the best
