Unable to complete Plusnet deal on-line

I have been trying for the last 24 hours to order Plusnet phone and broadband. Choose deal, give all information and then when click "Continue" it will not go on to the Installation or Payment page.
The Chat assistant advised there was a technical hitch and to try again later or use another computer.
I think trying for 24 hours is more than enough. Plus how would using another computer help if there is a glitch with their website? I am confused, has anyone else had the same problem.

Try using a different browser, eg Firefox if you are currently using IE.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache? If it was a site issue, I'm sure they'd have sorted it as a priority.

I agree, try using a different browser.
I had a similar incident just the other day, not the same company.

Firefox would not open up the drop down entry panel, but I simply tried using SeaMonkey and it went straight away.

And SeaMonkey is merely a derivative of Firefox anyway.

Thank you all for helpful comments. It was Firefox which wasn't working for me, but am confused why it works when using another browser. However, am up and running now so again many thanks to you all.

Yes I tried that but still had problems so I just borrowed a friend's computer and it went through first time. Is this a common problem with Firefox, would it better to change to another. (you'll have guessed I'm not all that internet savvy!!)

I've had a couple of problems with Firefox in the past when newly installed; both appeared to be because the browser in default settings was too secure for some sites!!! In one case, I found that I couldn't complete purchases that required "verified by Visa" as the final stage, it just hung, because the browser as installed, wouldn't accept third party cookies.
Secondly,I had problems with one of my online banks -this proved to be due to Firefox allocating too little memory for Flash.
Generally however,I find Firefox much better than either IE or Chrome.:)
