You shouldn’t notice any difference, the links don’t impact the product at all and the editorial line (the things I write) is NEVER impacted by the revenue. just got to say that i saw "hound of the baskervilles" yesterday and it's the funniest thing i've seen in ages - it's a brilliant show and i recommend it to everyone - with this offer, i think i'll go and see it again!

Although these are great offers - be careful with Last Minute website and their terrible customer service. I tried to book tickets for a show and when the confirmation came through it was for a different day than my original order. Customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful and I ended up paying £45 for a show I couldn't attend as it was on the afternoon of the day I ordered it . Doing a quick search I found that I wasn't the only person who had had problems with Last Minute customer service. I was a fan of their offers but I won't use them again.0

I am a real fan of the theatre and welcome any chance I get to go - but I have to say I agree with nsadler.
Although I have used lastminute.com to buy theatre tickets before and had no problems, I was royally shafted by them when I tried to book a holiday - basically going back on their word and not adhering to their own terms and conditions. On top of that, their website is tediously slow and user-unfriendly.
I will never use them again.
There are, however, other ways to get cheap tickets (although I appreciate this may not have quite such a positive effect on this website's funding)
Showpairs will often get you half-price tickets. These often appear in the office as a result of the efforts of from some enterprising soul (if not, try their website, I think its show-pairs.com....they have certain conditions though) and the Half-Price ticket booth gets you upto 50% off from their stalls in Leicester Square and Canary Wharf DLR station0 -
I didnt have any problems with lastminute.com.
I saw woman in black a few weeks ago - my tickets were £12 quid i think (booked them ages ago) same price they were at the theatre or very close - so try the theatres direct if you dont want to go through lastminute see what they are charging. We were right up in the gods but still had a great view - couldnt see the very top of the back drop or when they came to the very front of the stage but this was so minimal it wasnt a problem.
Can REALLY REALLY recommend woman in black - saw it years ago and it is still as good. I knew what was coming and still screamed!!
Great play!Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0 -
I've used these in the past www.Broadwaybox.com/london0

Last Friday we went on lastminute and booked tickets for Hound of the Baskervilles for the next day, a Saturday. The deal was "best available seats for £10", and you don't find out where you're sat until you collect the tickets from the box office before the show - so in theory you could end up with rubbish seats. But we ended up in the third row of the stalls! And the show was very funny - all the better for being a bargain. I would highly recommend this offer.Snootchie Bootchies!0

The National Theatre offers tickets for £10 as part of the Travelex £10 season: http://www.nationaltheatre.org.uk/Travelex%20%A310%20Tickets%202007%2022072.twl
The Royal Opera House does the same, but only for students: http://www.travelex.royaloperahouse.org/StudentIntro/index.cfm?aokeywords=&aoca=44&aocr=50&campaignRef=1
If you are under 30 or a student, English National Opera offers tickets from £10 as part of the access all arias scheme: http://www.eno.org/accessallarias/main.html If you're not, you can still get 5% off when you book online by entering the promotion code ENOFirst on the 'basket' page until 31st July 2007.0 -
I just booked half price Chicago tickets for August using this website: http://www.2for1entry.co.uk/Attractions.aspx?WithOffers2=True
If you have train tickets you can get half price tickets for other musicals and loads of other attractions/restaurants etc as well.
Then I bought a return trip to London from Manchester on megabus for £8 for four of us!! I am just going to buy train tickets from some station near London to validate the offer. E.g. Burnham to London return for 4 people is only £14.60. This is because there is a special offer that south-west trains are doing - buy 2 tickets and get one or two more free.
And the covent garden travelodge was only £26!
Hope this helps someone.0
