All mobile networks like to get into the pockets of iPhone owners.
However, AFAIK, it will work with any sim card. Just get it cut to the right size if needed, although iPhone is now not the only one that needs a micro sim.0 -

Very true, my latest handset I had to get the sim cut down, cost £1 and the guy done a good job too, was so neat I could use the existing remains as a sim adaptor :cool:0 -
I need to iphone contracts, the £7.50 plan with tesco would suit. Would I be able to keep my current numbers from orange and get £7.50 sims cut down to fit the iphone? Are tesco ok with this?0

Don't see why not, although you raise a good point, in the past the sim card always belonged to the MSP.
Hope the guys by you are good at the cutting, when I went to have mine cut the 1st guy wanted £2, but when he put it in his jig, he said it may ruin the sim card and recommended me to another place a short walk away, the 2nd guy charged £1 :cool:0 -
I been advised to call Tesco and requested a change to a micro sim, will do so as soon as new phone arrives.
Paying a £1 to have it cut sounds a quicker way though0 -

£1 sim cut, iphone up and running
Still on the £12.50 tariff, with 500 mins more than the new Tesco £17.50 iphone one0 -
You can buy the cutters on ebay for less that £3, so by the time you do your 3rd one at a quid you are in profit. Although maybe the guy that sent you elsewhere was using one from ebay and the other guy had a better bit of kit.
OH got hers cut for free at cpw yesterday, Orange advised her to try them after sending the wrong sim, they wanted £15 in the EE branded shop to do it.0
