Monitor does not go on! Can you help me fix it?

Arhh I think I came across a Samsung TV/Monitor that takes some presses to get it working.... I'd put money on it being some electrolytic caps in the power supply. To be honest I'd probably not pay someone else to fix it as a replacement 19" monitor (assuming you don't need it as a TV) are pretty cheap new or even cheaper second hand.

Methinks that I have the same monitor as you, and the power switch is rather flimsy.
Spray some switch cleaner in there (unplugged obviously!), if no good - resolder the switch/replace it - as this monitor has a good reputation.
Or - desperate measures - if not a repair type - aim a hair dryer/heatgun at the power switch, to resolder itself(!) Yikes!
