international signed for vs airsure vs courier

Ok trying to get the right postal service here.
buyer in Denmark bought 4 £30 items so value of goods being posted is £120
Quite small though and box will be about 25cm*15cm*15cm
weight just under 1.5kg
so international signed for comes in at. £18.57
Airsure £22.10
couriers i've tried seem to be about the same or slightly higher.
strangely if i packed all 4 individually it would cost me £4.22 *4 =£16.88 and each one would be covered for the value.
However that means extra boxes and potential hassle for the buyer to save less than £2.
so is there any real benefit to airsure?? from the postage sticky it says that tracking is not guaranteed so i'm not guaranteed paypal protection from INR any more than signed for.
Are there any cheaper couriers i'm missing?
and would anyone be tempted to send them individually?
any advice warmly received.

I would send as four separate parcels. It is the cheapest way and there is no point in paying extra for signatures when RM is does not guarantee them. If any fail to arrive you can claim from RM with a certificate of posting.0

I disagree. Airsure doesn't have a signature, but you don't need one for paypal. It has confirmation of delivery, and is less fuss and messing about than four packets.0

Airsure is tracked in Denmark using http://www.postdanmark.dk/en/tracktrace/Pages/home.aspx
