It won't let me log in with my regular account, anyone else?0
-
It's not entirely clear - a new account for the game has to be created. Those points then get matched up with your main account (provided the email addresses are the same - a bit like the Tesco vouchers).0

Mods, please don't move this one like you moved mine the other day, this is a really easy way to earn a lot if red spotted hanky points, definitely should be in freebies as well!0

Looking at the scoring, picking better drivers and sacrificing the other items might work well as they get 1 point for each lap completed. So the Aus GP is 58 laps I think, so 3 decent drivers, say, would be 174 points. Crudely multiply that by 20 GP's and that should be £34.80 worth before the other points are considered.0 -
I agree, and there doesn't seem to be a cap like before (at the olympics there was a 1500 point maximum)
Most drivers will complete most laps most races (even the rubbish ones) so like you say we could be looking at £2 a race before any other points which could make it a lot more.
My only worry is that RSH realise there is no cap and introduce one!
On my thread that got moved tin_2001uk had set up a mini-league - which might be a bit of fun
The details you need are:
League Name:
MSE
League password:

Well I'm going to give it a go.
A few questions
Anyone know if there is a discussion forum for this ? (Anywhere online ?)
Can you submit an "incomplete" team setup ? For example 4 drivers, 1 engine and ONLY 1 constructor (as opposed to 2).
Or will it ONLY work with ALL 7 components in place ?
And has anybody found more information regards playing this game and linking it to an existing RSH account so that any points won/earned merge with existing points already on account ?

I haven't seen or heard of a discussion forum for it.
With regards to the team selection, I have gone for a full team although quite a few teams haven't. It is obvious that selecting better point scoring drivers as they have the highest scoring potential, they don't specifically say you must have a full selection but it depends how they interpret:
5.1 To create a Team you will need to buy 4 drivers, 2 constructors, 1 engine and 1 bonus circuit per Mini Competition.
I don't think that "need" is strong enough to penalise for not having a full team but I'm going to keep at a full strength.
As for the getting points on your account this is what they say:
All fantasy game participants will be awarded redspottedhanky.com loyalty points. The number of loyalty points awarded will be equal to the number of game points earned. Loyalty points can be redeemed against the costs of future train travel with redspottedhanky.com Loyalty points will be allocated to the participants redspottedhanky.com account within 28 days of the game completion. In order for redspottedhanky.com loyalty points to be allocated to the participant the participant must register on www.redspottedhanky.com and set up an account using the same email address used for game participation. Loyalty points are personal to the account holder and the account to which they have been allocated. Loyalty points cannot be transferred to any other person or account, nor can they be traded in any way. Loyalty points cannot be redeemed in cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
I have done this the last few times they ran similar competitions and as both logins had the same email my points were debited with no issues a few weeks after the end of the competition (I earned a good £30-40 on previous comps)0 -

I don't know how many of you MSEers are playing this but IF you are .....
PLEASE join the MSE mini-league as created by member tin_2001uk
League Name = MSE
Password = Savings
At the minute MSE is the 3rd largest league, ONLY just behind "giffgaff" in 2nd place, a position I'm sure we can move to and retain
Top position is held by the largest "Take on team Hanky" league which has been created by RSH themselves.
So come on guys SIGN UP
Let's be the largest independent league on there :j :j
And if you happen to read this TEAM "TesterSquad" - you've not selected any components for your team at all !!!

I don't get how to join. I clicked on mini leagues. It takes me to mini league admins and then says to click on "join a mini league" but I only have "join a league" and then that takes me back to the home page that shows all the prizes to be won. Am I missing something?0

I don't think you are logged in
Have you registered and created a team, given it a name etc. ?
If you have you need to log in before you can join a league
(After about 20 minutes of inactivity it will automatically log you out of the site - so you then have to log back in again)
