From experience, does anyone know if the 123 current account comes with a cheque book by default when the 123 account was applied for online (there was no option to select one) or do I need to order one via the online banking, now that the account has appeared there?

I think you can request one from the order bit on online banking, when I opened my everday account it didn't come automatically with a cheque book, I ordered it separately.
I guess you should see if you can order one online.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0 -
I got one but can't remember whether I ordered it or whether it came automatically. Not used a single sheet in almost a year of having the account, and I am not likely to ever need to write a cheque, so I think it was probably sent automatically.0

You can order one on the online banking0

It's offered as an option once your application is accepted-you can't request it at the application stage itself. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

A cheque book request form was included in our welcome pack. Failing that it can be done through Internet banking although when we opened our account Internet banking kept giving an error message when a cheque book was requested and then about 4 turned up0

I got sent one when I opened my account, although as Davethorp says above, I think I recall ticking a box on the signature form in the welcome pack.0
