Lovely firepit ! My brother has just made one using the drum if a defunct washing machine ! Looks darn good considering what it was. It sits on the door rim, he's making me one when he can get another machine, hope this weather holds that long ! Love bats, but none up here, Can i trade you for some swallows ?

Pop on down to mine we have wine and lager ... Good tunes ( apart from the Xmas songs ... But I blame Tilly for them ) ... flying bats, snuffling badgers, hooting owls ...and great convo ... Then when your fire pit is ready we can come up and visit you and watch the aurora borealis ... That one wins hands down ... I would even pay you for the pleasure
