US Dollars Savings

Hello,
I currently have US dollars in a bank account as I used to be paid in dollars.
Not a lot of point converting it back to pounds at the moment!
Any advice where I can get a better rate of return than the .25% I am currently getting?

Saw this today
Most offshores will have $ accounts.
I believe Citibank do $ accounts and my employer Cater Allen Private Bank also have $ accounts, we are based on-shore. You will need $5000 I think to open a CAPB account.

Check out https://www.nationwideinternational.com.
We have a Nationwide Dollar Savings Account - so no big commitment like fixed term or Deposit Account. The latest rate for amounts under $50000 is something like 2.4%ish.0 -
Hi All,
Does anyone know how tax works with relation to offshore accounts, even if they are in £'s?
I would expect an A&L Offshore (IoM) account to be quite secure, and if it wasn't taxed like a UK account, could possibly have a slightly higher interest than an normal UK savings account?
Cheers
