Publicising Spreadshirt store

I had a few ideas for t-shirt designs recently, including a couple that are topical at the moment, and I've set up a Spreadshirt store to see if anyone'll buy them. Not sure if I'm allowed to link to it, but you can probably guess the store name from my username. There are only 2 designs on there at the moment, and I'm going to add more during the week (can't really do proper graphics stuff while I'm at work
) but since they're potentially quite time-sensitive, I'd like to try and drum up some business quickly.
I'm a total newbie at this, so my question is this: what's an effective and free (or very very cheap) method of getting visitors to my Spreadshirt store? There's a possibility of a popular Friday email newsletter that might want to carry a link (I'll ask them when the other designs are done) but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Send them to T4 (with a zany press release and gimmicky gift pack) and see if you can't get a presenter wearing one - generally does the trick.
Couple of old friends of mine run t-shirt businesses and also do consultancy for other companies. Aparently a T4 presenter wearing one of your t-shirts is a kiss of death if your looking for longetivity in the uber cool market but if your after a quick buck that's the way to go.
If your looking for methods to drum up business through links etc have a look at the threads on the ebay community boards in the shops or business sections there's loads on there about how to get traffic etc.
I've got a killer idea for a t-shirt that I've never got round to soughting out. But neither has anyone else. Anyone remember the metroploitan police in schools campaign "I've Met The Met" in the 70's? I've got a sticker for that somewhere that would make a chavtastic t-shirt. 2 bobbies one male one female 2 colour blue and the slogan "I've Met The Met" can just picture it on the back of a hoodie.0 -

Ooh... I had been thinking a lot smaller than that, but that's a fantastic idea!  Need to make sure I appear on the search engines for that phrase first, before I try anything like that. Hmm, and probably get a proper website (which I can do cheap). Looks like I've got a busy week ahead of me.
It takes less than half an hour to set up a store and put some t-shirts on there, and doesn't cost anything. Have a go!0 -
