Have you called O2 yet?0

Just return it, you're not entitled to compensation just because you couldn't browse the Internet while in hospital.
I'm only 23 and the last thing I'd want to do is sit on the Internet in hospital - people have managed for years without such devices so I'm sure it wasn't bad enough to need compensation.0 -

I will see how I get on, the original point was I was told and have proof in the transcript that I WOULD get internet and that is what swayed my decision to make the purchase, I even raised my doubt about signal and was told I was wrong.0 -
RESULT!:D
after sending an email to the CEO at O2 I received a phonecall this morning from O2 but it wasn't a convenient time as I was waiting for a checkup, however the said they would ring back. My phone wasnt on my person when they obviously tried to call back so I missed the call.
I have just received an email from O2 Executive Relations saying they tried to call me back but there was no answer, and explaining how, while most of the information I was given before purchase of the dongle by O2 was correct, they shouldnt have said it "Would" work, and I should have been told in communications since, that there is a 30 day "happiness guarantee" where I could have returned the product for a full refund. However they said "To sort this out, I’ve arranged for a cheque to be sent to you for £50 and this should be received within 14-21 days."0
