It has. Standard tax code is 810L for 2012/13 tax year.
Looks like your partner has an adjusted tax code for some reason. Does he have a company car? Private healthcare provided by his employer? These benefits would affect his tax code, but it would have been detailed on the coding notice HMRC sent out.You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -
No he has nothing!! Just gets paid a salary.....
He has been on this tax code for years.......does this mean he may be due a rebate?0 -

I would get in touch with the tax office, it looks like the employer has not been applying the tax code updates each year.0 -
This code was used in FY 2009/10 and 2010/11: normally it increases each April but was frozen for 2010/11.
The coalition government messed around a bit before making it 747L for 2011/12.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Why 920L when the basic allowance is 944(0)?0

"For 2013-14 the personal allowance for those aged under 65 will be set at £9,205 and the basic rate limit at £32,245."

Why 920L when the basic allowance is 944(0)?
I seem to remember that it was originally to be 920 but was increased?
