    One problem with not providing EDF with regular meter readings is that I think they will only produce a bill/statement once a year unless you give them those meter readings.

    I thought they were more often than that and would estimate, so happy to be corrected.
    It might have been corrected but from the EDF DD thread it looked like the DDs were being recalculated any time a DD was input. If this has been fixed I'd be tempted to input a read monthly.

    I believe EDF normally review the DD payments on a half yearly basis.

    I've been with them about 6 months, input figures once a month, get a new bill shortly thereafter (they don't if it's not been at least about a month) and not been advised of any DD change, despite the account being slightly in the red as you would expect after the 6 most expensive months of the year.

    Fingers crossed they won't increase the monthly payments as I hope to pay it back and some over the next 6 months.
