To be honest, if that is ALL you are wanting to do, then the ultrabook is a bit of an overkill

I am looking for the exact same thing as well for VBA and python programming and found a couple of nice little 11.6" laptops I think I might endulge in (well one of them)

Thank you althas, definitely worth considering, same weight too.

I’m currently doing everything that I mentioned above on an old Dell 863Mhz with 256MB of RAM so anything will be a big improvement.

Just go refurbished as long as you still get a warranty, Its just the same as a new one but cheaper
