Following payouts to mortgage customers owing to errors in paperwork an error in the Net Rate quoted has been discovered in paperwork for E-Saver Issue 5. The difference was all of 0.004%. They rounded it up and sent me a cheque for £1 as the account is now closed. I'll try not to spend it all at once!

Well done them (now Virgin Money) for compensating without me making a claim - or realising that there was a claim to be made. NatWest have made a number of much larger blunders initially in quoted rates on eSavers over recent years. When those happened customers pointing out the errors were left arguing for compensation.
