When I asked I was told there were 1990 entries. I actually thought there would be more.
I cannot believe how many people enter to win a block of cheese...or baby wipes.
Still. I am thrilled with my win. Have wanted diamond earrings for years!2014 Best Win : TV, Home Cinema and iPad bundle

That is low, I suppose it was not very a desirable prize unless someone was really into cycling.0 -

I was surprised - perhaps it was the quick end date.
Cycling has become very popular (although perhaps just not among MSEers/compers!) and he's the most well known British cyclist - it's even topical given he's just broken the hour record (at a venue where several thousand people paid £40-60+ just to see him do it!). I'm not a big cycling fan (lots of friends who are and went to the hour record etc.), but it would have made a great addition to my general sports collection. Is probably worth a bit too (although as the link shows, being honest about ebaying it would not be the thing to do!)
It just goes to show there are a few comps with decent prizes that go under radar0
