Hi there .

Good news my claim via the FOS paid off got a letter yesterday saying HBOS are giving me a good will gesture . Made up just waiting for the letter from the bank now saying how much. Can someone give me a qoute as to how much I would be expecting I'm rubbish at maths lol.

Total charge for credit £3.317
Total amount £15.317
Insurance loan £2.873
Total charge for credit £794
Total amount for insurance loan £3667
66 monthly payments £287

The loan started on 15th April 2005 last payment 14th December 2010.
I payed it off about 4 month early.

Any info much appreciated.

3667 less the amount rebated when you paid it off early, plus 8% simple interest.

The rebate amount will have been negligible, given that the OP only paid off four months early.
