Party bag - one item

Hi I wonder if you could give me some inspiration.
I like to give one small item to children coming to my children's parties. In the past I have given a book, football, Hama bead kit.
So it is my sons party very soon and I would like to do the same thing.
I prefer to do it for under £4.
If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from you.
Thanks

How old will your son be?
If you are only going to give one thing, for me it would have to be a piece of cake (must be homemade!) wrapped in a serviette.
- ooh, just had an idea that would work for most ages, a lego minifigure?0 -
The exact item won't help as its for girls but I have a dozen of these cushions in my spare room waiting for DD's party in a couple of weeks. http://www.tesco.com/direct/me-to-you-cushion/210-6563.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=210-6563
These will be brilliant as we are having this chap come http://www.jonathansjungleroadshow.co.uk/ and the cushions will help keep their bottoms in place :T0 -
Depending on age range... Wilkos do little £1-2 craft kits. I bought them for my friends kids to shut them up for a little while so we could chatMan plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0

It's me who is doing the easter eggs (although im sure thousands of others have/are doing the same!) In Tesco's they have the medium sized Mini Egg, Creme Egg, Crunchie, Flake, Caramel Egg & Buttons easter eggs, I also saw Kit Kat Chunky, Hello Kitty, Smarties & Rolo easter eggs on buy two get two free @£1.50 per egg. You can buy a maximum of 16 and it works out at 75p an egg.
I've just ordered these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321067496818?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 to stick on the boxes to slightly theme it... They do loads of designs, obviously you could do this yourself cheaper but my printer is broke!
Hope your son has a lovely party!0 -
Have you had a look at thebookpeople website?
It is not a book club that commits you to keep buying but has some good offers. When dds were younger I used to get a set of six books for a tenner or less and it looked as if I had spent at least a fiver per book."This site is addictive!"

Hi, I've bought craft kits from the clearance section of Hobbycraft for my son's party at the end of this month, lovely sets that have cost me very little

They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
