trying to get through to speak to someone about IB on this number.
It answers gives you a few options, option 3 for IB ... engaged.
REPEAT.
Costs 5p every time as well!
Are there any employees actually left working for the DWP, or have they all been made redundant by Gordon Brown?
The level of service being provided by the DWP is absolutely shocking.

oh how i agree! I had the same trouble a few weeks ago. I rang got 3 options then when i pressed one it said they were too busy to take my call then cut me off! in the end my brain suddenly had a new lease of life & just kept hanging on after the options. Somebody actually picked up & sorted my query! This new system is supposed to be progress, but even the old office said it was totally incapable of taking all the calls.0

Brown is currently trying to lay off 30,000 benefits and revenue staff.
He's trying to switch the rest to short term contratcs, so there are more and more untrained staff there.
It won't get any better.
