Car share in France

Can anyone recommend a site that offers safe car share in France. I am a widow intent on camping in the south of France to meet up with friends. I am very happy driving but it is such a long way and very boring on ones own. My route is from Roscoff in Brittany via Tours, Bourges, Clermont Ferrand down past the Millau bridge just north of montpellier
I am going in june returning in july.

I can't recommend it as no recent experience, but....
liftshare.com ? Or google lift sharing? Or contact the local universities' internal bulletin boards? (a pity you weren't around 45 years ago when I used to hitch regularly from London through to Spain!) . Good luck
