Hi all,
I'm currently a care worker in London and have to travel around a fair bit. I like taking my own Lunch with me to save money but sometimes find it difficult to find somewhere (in the winter time) where i can sit and eat my own lunch indoors.
The only place i know of that springs to mind is the queen Elizabeth hall on the southbank.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? (excluding rail stations, I've got them covered)
Many thanks!
Milky

Most of the museums such as the Natural History, V&A, British etc have benches where people eat their own food. The man without a signature.0

The Plaza shopping centre on Oxford St has a food court where I'm sure you can sit, Starbucks (I sit in there and take my sandwiches in at lunchtime - though I sit in a bookshop starbucks so perhaps they don't notice me!), some universities are open access and you get to see lovely buildings too (King's, UCL, University of London, Institute of Education spring to mind)....that's all I can think of for the moment!:hello:

The Barbican Centre in London has seats dotted around which I imagine you would be OK to eat your own lunch at. I often see queues for the art exhibitions where they are having a picnic while they wait."Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence": Desiderata0
