I've just phoned Nissan who won't give me a part number for a Heater Resistor unless I buy from them.

Does anyone know how I can get the part number I want without taking the part out which I don't really want to do.

If not buying from a dealer why is the part number important?

If buying 2nd hand, But one from the same model/year if there is a switchover point then you need to know which ones fitted to yours anyway.

    Thanks for all the help.

Looked on a Nissan forum and this seems to be a common fault.

All it was in the ens was a bit of solder had gone brittle and fallen off the circuit board of the resistor card.

A trip to the £1 shop and a steady hand later the heater works.

Plus, as I have taken the part out I now have the part number (taken a picture of the part) so will know now for future.

    Thanks again.
