Hi, I'm looking to get a two bedroom student house/flat next year and was wondering if anyone could help me with the cost of utilities. How much would it roughly cost for everything (gas, electricity, water) then i can try and work out my budget.
Any other tips would be helpful too.
If it makes a difference we will be living in Liverpool.
Thank You

Without wishing to sound too harsh but that's a bit like asking, "I'm thinking about buying a car, how much will I spend on petrol?" There are just too many variables.604!0

Put that on the list of questions to ask the existing tenants when you go and view the property0 -
Over and Above the costs of Power, Gas & Water, is a firm understanding with your co-tenant as to how the money is collected to pay the bills - The sensible thing is weekly so that you have early warning of the financials going off track0

Fundamentally, how is the property heated and hot watered? Gas is cheaper than E7 is much cheaper than standard rate electricity.
Water will depend on whether it's metered or RV billing. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
There is no such thing as average it's varies widely based on how well insulated the property is, whether you are gas or electric heated, how many hours/ temperature you heat to, length of power showers, how much laundry you do and so on. It's worth getting used to the advanced search function, this sort of question has come up many times so there have been many answers. As already stated existing tenants will be similar to you, providing you have similar usage patterns.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
