anyone used mica panel heaters?

hi
looking for a heater for living room and bedroom. was thinking of getting oil filled radiator but then came across some mica panel heaters on amazon with fantastic reviews. the biggest advantage seems to be instant heat and light weight.
looking for some feedback from anyone here who might have used them. especially i was thinking if they instantly cool off once switched off and "dry heat" for long period may not be a good thing in long term (no asthama problems but just heard that its not too good, but i may be completely wrong)

Yes - I bought two and both died very quickly, within just a few months.
Replaced them with oil filled.0
