EDFWarmwise electricity costs rises

Our electricity is supplied by EDF and we are currently on Warmwise tariff which is similar to Economy 10. This provides us with cheaper electricity to run storage heaters overnight with an additional 'charge-up' during the afternoon.
EDF have sent us an annual projection today which shows instead of the increase in cost which we anticipated being about 10.8%, our tariff has increased by 13.2%. We have considered switching suppliers, but because of the provisions of the Warmwise product, we would be getting an inferior supply and the cost of changing back to a single reading meter from the dual reading we have at the moment may be too costly.
Does anyone have experience of switching this type of product? Should I challenge EDF on the price rise which seems even more extortionate than expected?

You'll find some attempts by users here in the past who have attempted to switch from this (or similar types of) tariff.
    It invariably ended in tears.

For 'than expected' should that not read 'than wanted'? Who is not expecting enormous increases??? ;)
