i have a new pc coming pre loaded with vista basic can i put office 2003 ,paint shop pro 8 and nero 6 on this machine without causing any conflicts with vista

Yes, you should have no problems with Office 2003. Nero 6 will have issues (there is a new version with support for Vista). Not sure about PSP8.Throwing acid is bad.... in some peoples eyes...0
