2 wireless adapters

My new(ish) PC came with an internal wireless adapter - I had a USB adapter from my previous PC - Is there any reason why I should not use both ?
Both are running at the moment - and it appears to be a faster connection than just using one !!

I really can't see how it can work at all. On any given network a device should only have one IP. Of course as they are seperate adaptors they will only have the one IP each but then which one will Windows use - there certainly won't be any load balancing routines to help spread the load.

Windows doesn't, without extreme provocation and a lot of manual fiddling, know how to trunk interfaces. I've never encountered a router that can trunk wireless. So the chances are that your machine is just using one of the interfaces. It's just about conceivable that it might be able to use both interfaces on a per-connection basis (ie, if simultaneously talking to machines A and B, one interfaces handles A, the other B) but I would be very, very surprised.

i would think it would be slower as wifi uses Distributed Control Function and more wifi devices will cause more collision, and the same data will have to be sent wore times.
