Mini Body scrub and body lotion from the gifted bag - WNBA not the greatest of fragrances.

Murad Pomegranate exfoliating mask - WBA skin looks fresh, bright and clean.

Some ins - these were (mostly) necessary so I dont feel too guilty.

    2 Mouthwash for my DH
4 Sure maximum protection deo - HG and on offer
    2 cotton wool pads
New pink flashing toothbrush for DD (according to DD this was actually essential)
    No more buying toiletries
  • I really liked the smell of the beautifying oil, and panic bought when I saw it was on offer - the shop assistant assured me it wasn't being discontinued though. That was a few weeks ago.

Ooh good to hear, if its still around at the end of the year when my stash should be more respectable, then maybe ill buy!

Having said that, I am looking forward to more expensive but carefully thought out purchases. I have a mental to buy list, every so often ill buy an item, like the Emma hardie cleanser, just to keep me going through all the less-loved stuff!

Oxygen Purifying Honey Masque - WNBA, i did and i didn't like this! I liked the fact it smells of honey....i am just not sure i like the smell of pure honey on my face as the longer it sits there the longer it smells like sick haha

Just catching up on the thread now after a crazy week at work. Am off this week but kind of wish I wasn't as the weather is nasty. As you can see by the time that I'm posting this that I haven't been able to lie in!

Had a fabulous night out last Thursday watching Olly Murs at MEN. Think I am new fan.

    Anyway back OT.

II was thinking as well it might be interesting if we listed our HG items as I know the odd one gets mentioned every now and then but it would be nice to see them all in one place. So our HG shampoo, conditioner, cleanser, toner, moisturiser, make up items etc or whatever is a must have for each of us. x

Here goes with my HG products:-

Shampoo and Conditioner - It's a toss up at the moment between V05 and Mark Hill. Have a large stash of the latter products from the Jan sales so will see which one I go to at the end of using them all.

    Cleanser: Elemis Lime Blossom Balancing

Toner: LE Instant Boost Skin Tonic - keep wanting to swap to a cheaper alternative but haven't found one as good for less.

Moisturiser: Elemis PCMC (day time) LE Skin Repair Moisturiser (night time) though I'm going to give the natural one made by the lady on ebay a go after this has gone.

Exfoliator : Elemis Gentle Rose Exfoliator

    Mask: Decleor Herbal Clay Mask

Shower gel: Philosophy shower gels (any fragrance although not overly keen on the red velvet one)

Body lotions: TBS body butter (again any fragrance - not found one I don't like)

Hand Cream: joint fave is L'Occitane Lavender hand cream and Molten Brown White Mulberry hand lotion

    Body Scrub: S&G Sugar Crush

    Make up:-

Concealer/Eye lid primer : Benefit Erase Paste and Lemon Aid
    Primer: Laura Geller Spackle
Foundation : Laura Geller Balance N Brighten
    Mascara: Clinique Lash Power
    Lip Gloss: Smashbox (all colours)
    Eye Liner : Smashbox pallette
    Nali Lacquer : OPI

Don't have HG blushers and eyeshadows as I have a few different brands all of which I love.

Eye makeup remover - Clinique take the day off - pricey but it shifts everything easily.

Thanks for reminding me of eye make up remover. I use the L'Oreal one.

Don't have a HG lipbalm either. Don't mind any except the Vaseline ones in the tins.

Just painted my toenails with OPI's Kiss Me On My Tulips and OPI's I Lily Love You over the top. Really love the combination, bright and glittery :)

I need to do my toe nails. They are shabby at the mo. I own a mini size of Kiss Me On the Tulips and like it very much although won't replace it when it's gone as the Suzy's Hungary Again colour I got recently looks very similar.

Went into JL yesterday to see if they had the new Oz colours (they didn't) and was surprised to see them selling the same kit of four colours that I got from QVC as the TSV last week. Was surprised as I thought that these boxes were put together especially for QVC.
Also a toothpaste freebie arrived today.

Oh yes, I got a freebie through the post the other day as well. Will save it for Emma for one of her trips this year.

Get ready to vacate the naughty step please whoever is currently in residence:rotfl:

Ordered this morning 200ml Emma Hardie Moringa Balm, it was a really good price on QV*, they said it is the last of the stock of this size, I am having outbreaks of red blotches on my face again, cannot pin it down to anything topical I am using, but only using products that don't sting atm. My two HG cleansers have been LE C&P and the Elemis Pro-radiance one, but the EH has knocked them off the top spot, it is so gentle and leaves my skin soft, plump and glowing.

Hi Maddiemay I meant to come back and post about the cleanser I got for Emma from Ebay. It's working well for her as her skin's looking really fresh now. I bought the oily variety which didn't suit me. It congested the skin on my chin. I may try the variety suited to my skin in the future but as you know have a large stash of Elemis cleansers to get through. Hope your skin soon clears up.
Please excuse my ignorance but do balm cleansers melt and apply like oils? Are they suitable for all skin types?

Have heard great things about the emma hardie has anyone tried the elemis one yet.

I hadnt tried Elemis before and got a few items for mothers day and am currently using the tri enzyme wash and apricot toner with the PCMC at night and am loving them. They havent irritated my temperamental skin (which touch wood seems to be having a calm phase at the moment) and they smell good. I know the fragrance shouldnt matter but after sampling some Ren products recently that made me gag its become important

Yes, the balm is oil like when applied. As mentioned above though I've only tried the one that I bought from Ebay so can't comment on Emma Hardie or Elemis. Have tried the Elemis Melting Gel cleanser though and this was oily too. Some people are suggesting that the new Elemis balm is merely the melting gel in a pot.

Currently on the look out for a new under eye concealer - I'm 35 this year and doing well on the line front but got the beginnings of dark shadows under my eyes. I'm using Dior Diorskin concealer at the moment and it definitely helps but is not as complete a coverage as I would like. Would be very interested in any recommendations anyone has for this problem. I'm toying with the idea of either S&G as I believe their makeup is very good or Benefit Erase Paste. Help please ladies!

    Ems x

I like Erase Paste however I also liked Boing and am using the Tesco F&F version of this which is just as good. Depends on the consistency you want really.

Hurrah, have caught up with you all. Now to list the UUs I've had over the past week:-

VO5 shampoo. Can't remember which variety we have now but did have a bottle in the cupboard to replace this with.

Elemis Quartz Serum? I really didn't enjoy using this. It was only a 10ml size that I got as a GWP. One pump wasn't enough - two pumps made my face sticky however since I finished it a couple of days ago my skin has felt quite dry and I'm now supplementing my PCMC with facial oil instead. Was obviously doing something then?

L'occitane date hand cream - this was one of the magazine freebies but the worst L'Occitane hand cream I have ever used. Smelt awful. Used it mostly on MrM's feet.

Decleor Herbal clay Mask - HG product - have repurchased recently as it was at a great price. Wonderful product. This small tube lasted me well over a year.

Coal Tar hand wash - WNBA. Something along with the very cold weather is drying my hands out unmercilessly. I have huge dry patch on my right palm which keeps getting itchy and scaly. Am swtiching the bottle of Champneys hand wash for this one (this was in the ktichen) and getting my L'Occitane Verbena liquid soap out for the bathroom. Hopefully my hand will improve once I'm using this again.

I'm pretty sure there was something else as well but I can't remember.

Went into Tesco yesterday and bought some cotton wool pads. Do need some Spackle as my make up just isn't lasting without it so am going to have a look at ebay now.

Morning all. We are still struggling through frozen mountains of snow here, the school run was more like an expedition today. We have power though so can't complain too much.

Have had a little flurry of uu

Gok Gorgeous gold body butter, I love this although I could live without the gold aspect of it. It melts in beautifully and smells fab.

Figs & Rouge Rose Balm - WDBA, I really liked this and have two backups in the stash. It is the only one of their balms which I have tried which doesn't form a thick skin and start to smell odd after a couple of months, I have had this open about a year and it was fine right to the end.

S&G The Fab Pore Facial Peel - WNBA, I had thrown the box away and couldn't remember how I was supposed to use it, it is a sort of mask/scrub and has little balls which are supposed to burst but they only burst when pressed against something hard (i.e. not your face) and I couldn't see any benefit from using it.

Mandara Spa Amber Heaven bubble bath - 100ml - WBA, nice and bubbly and has a scent similar to Champneys Thai Royale.

All of the above have been replaced with alternatives from the stash.

This weather is a pain and it's not to get better anytime soon. been out at the animals and now back in for a heat
I have an OUT - well actually a TA, a horrible body lotion that I've had in the bathroom for years, I just thought that I hate it, makes my skin dry out so why was I keeping it! So out it went!:T

I have been using a Weleda cleanser and toner for months now and they showing no signs of UU, bought them last spring when there was 5 items for £10. They were short dated which is why they were reduced. I still have another box of 5 items that I haven't started plus the box I've been using. Not sure WBA not noticed a huge improvement in my skin but the fragrance is nice.
