Compensation Query

:cool:I ordered a bed, mattress and chest of draws from bed world. They state on their website that these its would be delivered the following day. I received a phone call to say that this could not happen but delivery would take place two days from order (I agreed to this).
Delivery day arrived and Bed World called to say that the mattress would not be delivered until the following day. THe bed base was delivered but not hte chest of draws.
I have now had to take another day off work, losing a days money in the process.
I have contacted Bed World regarding claiming my lost money but they state that they do not offer compensation as per their terms and conditions.
Can anyone advise if I am able to claim, regardless of Bed Worlds position?
All advice greatly received.
