How do I find a good courier for my new small business

Could anyone point me in the right direction for locating a reputable courier to transport large packages from Hampshire to Dorset?

    Try ..

    https://www.clickandsendparcel.com. using UPS

    and

    https://www.collectplus.co.uk

First one, they collect from your office or home. The second oe, you bring it to a collection point, local shops.

I use both and have had no problems.

Maybe take a look under the eBay section, for more advice. I am using an iPad now, so can not provide links.

From Hampshire you're right on the doorstep of silversprint - I've used them a few times, they have an economy service where the goods are collected from your door and are delivered by arrangement some days later - they stay on the van and the drivers route changes according to the load. http://www.silversprint.co.uk/ Best bit is they'll take unusual loads eg pinball tables, sofas etc which become a nightmare with online booked bulk parcel companies

    Might help :-)

Intercounty Distribution are very good and not expensive.

They do a "London rate" and a "rest of UK" rate as well as overnight and two day prices.

I use DPD to send all of my small boxes (who are great), but when a customer requires a pallet load I use Intercounty and have NEVER been dissappointed.
