Tax Credits assesment - confused

Hey guys. Turns out me and OH have been eligable for Tax Credits for donkeys years but never realised. I went to the online form to see how much we would be entitled to but i'm a little confused at the outcome. Is the amount at the end a yearly amount? as it seems a very low amount for the low income we are on (i'm on IB at the moment after an operation). Works out at around £68. If this is a year it doesn't seem worth the paperwork for a little over £1 a week. I have tried to call the office but they are always busy and advise me to call again later. Anyone have any ideas?
