Interparcel - useless but need to know rights

Hi. please help
today i booked a courier collection for a very important item. As it's so important i booked interparcels next day by lunch time service with TNT.
Anyway time came and went and my parcel hadn't been collected. At 4.30 i started to panic and i rang them and was informed the driver had accepted it onto his manefesto and it WOULD be collected today and for me to give it more time. At 5.30 i used their online chat and a lady again assured me he would definiately come and it could take until 7pm for him to collect from me.
Anyway 7pm came and went and i was then told by interparcel no he wouldn't come and they could rebook for the next day.
i mean duh! it was a specialised delivery for next day delivery. she said i could drop off at their hub which is 20 mins away from where i live. She also said she would not refund me compensation for petrol/time.
I just wondered what my consumer rights are please as i am so so angry at this. so stressed right now

A Guaranteed Collection Service offers a money back guarantee if collection fails at the date and time specified due to the carrier's error or failing. Non-guaranteed collection services do not have this guarantee. Further details are in section 9 below. However, please note your right to cancel an order as described in paragraph 3.4 above.

i used their timed and special service and paid what i would call a premium price.

i have emailed today asking for a transcript of an instant chat i had . i have received it but i swear they have missed some bits out from it.

i also asked for the managing directors name to which they have refused to give me.
when i rang to complain this morning, they said your parcel got there in time to which i said only because we drove 30 miles to get it to the depot!
INTERPARCEL = USELESS

you get what you pay for. What you call a premium price is far below dealing with the couriers direct who offer you the guarantee you seem to be expecting.

If you didn't use the premium service they define then you have agreed to the T&C's which would cover them against your situation.

As you state TNT then im guessing not as Interparcel Premium is serviced by UPS, so you are not entitled to anything
