Npower charges
I have today received a notice saying I have not paid my gas/leccy bill despite numerous letters.
This is the first letter I have received and paying it is not an issue.
What annoys me though is the letter states I have seven days before being passed over to debt collection etc. but the letter was dated seven days go.
Do they mean seven working or calendar days? Does anyone know?
I think it's unfair if I get charges if the letter gives me no chance to pay.

Hi tibawo,
When we send your bill, you'll have a window to pay that. If we receive no payment, then a follow-up letter will be sent (sounds like the one you have now).
I'm sorry to hear that the letter is dated further back than expected but you shouldn't have any extra charges on your account if you can pay the bill as soon as possible.
