    For you, you'd ideally want it as more salary as then it counts towards bonuses, pensions etc. Most however will give it to you as a separate line as a "Car Allowance" thus you get it in your take home pay but when you get your 10% bonus etc it doesn't count towards that.

    How secure is the job though. You dont want to take a 2 / 3 year deal and then in 3 months time they say by bye.

    Leaving you to pay for a car you might not be able to afford.
