Naturist holidays

Went out for a drink with a older friend the other night and we got talking about holidays. Me and the wife have always loved the sun in Spain Portugal etc. This lad is almost 60 and his wife is too and said they started to go on nudist holidays. I started to laugh as I was a bit embarrassed and thought of him and his misses in the duff. He said they go through specialist holiday companies and the places they stay are catered for nudist holiday makers.

Does anyone go on these holidays? In principle theres nothing wrong with it but can imagine loads of bloody pervs sat on a beach watching all the girls go by. As im sat here with my foot up after an op it came to me and thought I would ask on here if any of you guys participate in naturist holidays and maybe start a thread that others are also interested in.

Apart from my misses going topless on holiday ive only ever seen a german guy walking along the beach in Son Bou in Menorca and then thought 'put it away'

They do exist, Vera in Spain, Hedonism Resorts, and there are nudist beaches everywhere. Personally not for me thanks! More the fact of having to look at other people than them looking at me but...some people like it. Topless I am fine with.

In some places, of course it is banned. You cant just turn up naked on a beach and start sunbathing if it is not a nudist beach (but that depends where)

There's Cap D'Agde in France, nearest airport Beziers, Ryanair fly there so no need to pay to check in a bag for that clothing you won't be wearing.

I'd go on one of those holidays quite happily but I'd be concerned about sunburn.

I must admit that I have only had experience of one official nudist beach and it's not one I'd like to repeat. Swanbourne Beach near Perth in Western Australia. There were a few parties of older naturists who had formed defensive corrals with windbreaks, presumably to protect themselves from the sight of numerous male pervs w8nking in public. The place was also used as meeting place for men who would pair up and then disappear into the sand dunes for five minutes before returning and repeating the process with another partner.

Oh, and the sea was full of sharks.

That reminds me. I must do a Tripadivisor review of the place.

Apart from invading foreign countries and using towels to secure poolside loungers Germans are famous for going naked. Pity most of them are obese and over 60 :eek:

Lived in Germany for a while-and like our Jewish friends, never really liked going into the showers :cool:

The kind of people you would want to see nude tend not to be the ones you get on nudist beaches

I regularly go topless but that's about it.
