No I wouldn't be... What a strange, uncalled for comment to make about someone you know absolutely nothing about.
You absolutely would.
Throughout this thread we've established with your help, what you are, we're now merely debating your price.
We've established that it's at least £5, anything more and we can reasonably assume that you would be "on it" like a tramp on chipsMy farts hospitalize small children0 -
I'd email them!
Believe it or not, many food manufacturing people take health and hygiene VERY seriously, so would want to know if someone had found a foreign body in their food! (and hence require the barcode information so that they can track down which shift it was made on, who was working etc...).
Definitely drop them an email, and they'll at least send you a £4 voucher!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I'm glad to see you get such joy out of being rude, offensive and unhelpful to people you don't know. You've established what I am? What is that then?
How is my price at least £5? At what point did I say I would demand or be unsatisfied with anything less than £5? I wasn't even the poster that brought that figure up in the first place.
As it happens, I got a full refund and the same amount again in vouchers... which I was very happy with and felt was an appropriate response by the shop.
Perhaps you should think before you post such spiteful, horrible comments? If you have nothing helpful to add, then maybe you just shouldn't bother posting at all. Does it make you feel big to say hurtful things to strangers?0 -
Personally, I feel that OP should be given (a little) more than the value of the item to reflect the problem and for the inconvenience of returning it. He was entitled to a product that did not have foreign objects in it. He didn't get that.
OP hasn't said he wants millions. People on here should stop leaping to conclusions and give people the benefit of the doubt.0 -
It's easy, just take the item along with the foreign object back to customer services in the food section of M&S you bought it from. I worked there years ago and the staff are well versed in what to the procedure is. There is a form to fill in, not sure what compensation you will get (quite a few years now since i worked there). They often get product recalls for food which has to be removed from display so I'm sure they would far rather know about something like this than not...for example incase other batches are affected and have to be withdrawn. People take food back to M&S all the time.
Sorry just spotted you've taken it back.0
