Vista home basic & premium

I was looking at the differences between these 2 versions of vista. Are there any functional differences, by that I mean. What will a pc loaded with basic not be able to do compared with premium?
I can see that the visual effects are different & some search features are on premium only but will the pc function for normal use with networking support, graphics support for games & running all windows programs?

yes ,they are different and yes it works the same ,networking is basic and the over thing are just the same it's only programs you get with each verion that different
