Well done to everyone starting new jobs - brilliant news!!

Great to see everyone chipping away at their totals. All this talk of babies rolling over is making me go all broody again!!! (no can do though as DH now had the snip!). Those years are so precious and fly by far too quickly.

Anyhow, just updating my total as follows: £11 ebay sales from my last 3 straggler buyers to pay up, £3 saved not being a lazy git and bringing my own lunch to work today (!) and £40 transferred to savings that I would have spent on a meal and night out tonight planned ages ago that has been cancelled due to the bad weather. Also adding £70 consumer pulse argos vouchers that arrived earlier this week.

Hope everyone has a productive weekend. Not a lot goin on for me. 3 ebay listings that may or may not get bids and that's about it really. Kids just gone to bed so about to treat myself to a glass of wine or 2!
  • Well having a productive weekend in some ways- eBay finishes tonight, so far have bids of £150.48, which is brilliant.

But also a not-so-good weekend, in that my purse got stolen from my kitchen table on Friday night :( Only had £15 cash in, but lost all my cards, and will need to pay for replacements of my driving license and possibly rail card. Had a gift card for £25.50 Next in there, which luckily they've managed to trace and cancel, so I should get that back. Hey ho, at least I can't spend any money, I don't have my cards, or any ID so can't draw out from bank! Fingers crossed I get them quickly, so I don't have to wait over the bank holiday weekend for my cards to arrive. Also waiting for a crime number, hoping that providing that to the railcard company means that they will provide a replacement for free- it's only about 2 weeks old.

£3.17 from Tapporo now going to close the dman account!

must admit fast paying by paypal.
  • Pretty sure it's a chance thief, but it's very strange as I'm the end house in a cul-de-sac, with no access apart from that main road. Very few people come down this close, it's pure chance that they haven't been noticed, especially as I was in the next room at the time, but with the curtains drawn, fire (noisy) and TV in. Considering myself lucky as I was at home with my daughter and nephew at the time, could have been much, much worse.

Thank you for the concern! What's Tapparo, anything interesting? I need to get back onto DooYoo, wrote for two days, reviewed lots, but then was a very rough week at work last week so it's gone again.

Did a craft fair today. Not brilliant but £9.00 profit to add. E bay stuff to finish tonight only one small bid but there is still a little time to go.
  • *coughs & whispers* ... I've had my first ebay sales today :o :T

Nothing to wave the pompoms over so far, as all small bids, I've also still got some finishing over the rest of the evening - so won't post amount until tomorrow. :)

A little disappointing, was hoping to sell a few more bits & for a bit more pennies before the new postage costs hit - but will leave it now for new listings until after they kick in. I'll need to re-cost my p&p (as I'm sure most people will too).

Can someone tell me how to find local selling groups on FB pretty please :D

I have a MASSIVE £2 to add to the tally from MrT's price promise :rotfl:

Clarabella, so sorry to read your plight - that's really terrible! - so glad though that everyone is okay :A

Well done Haybel - you're doing well with those sales!

Seems to have been quiet in here over the weekend, hope that means you've all been busy little bees making [STRIKE]honey[/STRIKE] Money :money:

Clarabella that's awful. Hope.tou get your cards renewed quickly and so glad they could stop your next gift card. Wonder if they could trace whoever "tried" to spend it via CCTV?

Well done on your eBay sale GHA. Like you, I am not listing anything else for a few weeks until I can get my head ayround the postal changes so will be setting my target at £5 a day for April I think.

It is quiet in here though .... Is everyone out building snowmen?? Lol x
