    Hi all,

    I'm very new to this thread, but not to the site. I've spent many hours here on the Grabit boards etc.

    I'm here to highlight this point - it's a scheme I'm running currently.

    Ink Cartridges to recycle? Try these - http://www.therecyclingfactory.com/sell-ink-cartridges

    What I do is buy these ink carts at 60p each from eBay and then post them to the Recycling factory with Tesco clubcard bags (from Tesco or order online). I get 100 points per cart = £1 for 60p or, if you're like me, I sell the CC vouchers on EBay for 2.5 x their worth.

    It takes some time, so is not instant gain, but in 4 months I can make 100 x 60p = £60 for £100 vouchers - sell on Ebay for £250. Take off fees = £230 so £170 profit. You can do this once per household.

    I hope this helps people on this thread. :A
    I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

    lol AngelsMadv, just saw your post on elite thread and I came here to update my stuff and here you are again, felt like deja vu :)

    welcome to the thread, and thanks for posting. It is a good offer, I don't do this with the recycling factory, as wary of selling CC on ebay.

    But I do send them my used cartridges. I haven't been using that particular printer any more, so was thinking of buying the used cartridges of ebay for that model and sending them in so I can cash out on my account! only worth it if the price of the cartridge is less than the value they give me back though.

    £42.30 received from We buy books today;
    and £35 for scooter;

    found another few books to sell (only about £20 this time) but wont count that until received.

    So that's me off the starting blocks. Not sure where else I can make some money so think I will go back over the thread and look for inspiration! For some reason I am ebayophobic - I worry about people saying things didn't arrive or getting other hassle. However, I do have kids clothes, some too small Monsoon clothes and some shoes that might sell well on there so I know I should try.

    hello Allypops if you are worried about selling on ebay, why not try facebook selling pages? If you are on Facebook, type in the search bar at the top, your area and buy, sell, wanted.

    See what searches come up, sometimes you have to expand the list to find more in your area.

    A few of us on here sell on FB pages, it saves on ebay/paypal fees and although it is not auctions, you can put what you would like for the item and hope it sells at that. You can also join more than one site.

    and another 160.13 for me for cancelling unneeded work from a tradesmen - i know they have to try and make a living but they could at least be a bit subtle about trying to add on unneccessaries ;)

    Adding another £19.28 from late payers. Sod's law the item that went for the most still hasn't been paid for! Only £8 but went for double the start price on 3rd relist! Going to start prepping for weekend free listing. Think I'm going to rely on as many new items rather than relists as possible. Will also try and get some one day listings done on Saturday then relist then for a week on Sunday just to take full advantage. I'm hoping they increase my 100 item limit soon, although I know I'm lucky to have such a high limit (linked it to my business account). So my aim for this weekend is to get 80 new items listed, and to relist the items that sold but were never paid for. What's everyone else going for?

    Think natterjack is setting up a mini ebay challenge for this weekend's free listing :D

    I'm in.

    I will attempt to list 30 items.

    Yep I mean cough telemarketing. I'll send a pm over later when I'm not on my iPad

    Right, so it is only the 7th and my banked money is at £405.55!!! I am so thrilled. This is made up of money for typing for someone, mystery shopping and mostly eBay. I've got £25 pure profile I am waiting for, around £20 from CEX (sent via collect plus last Monday so starting to be concerned about this one) and a massive £2.50 from get jam. I'm also waiting for two eBay people to pay.

    I plan on listing a lot this weekend! I've got 105 items unsold to relist from, and I'm doing a boot sale on Sunday.
    I like to make money

    That's a thought - I noticed a friend of mine had listed some things on FB. I'll ask her how she finds our local selling page on there. That might solve a few of my ebaying concerns. Thanks!
