IB tribunal appeal is it possible to reschedule it??

my appointment is this week, to gather more medical evidence (my doctor takes 2 weeks to get to see him) and to try and arrange to get an advocate (welfare worker to come along with me) difficult to find in hackney)
i really need to put it off for a week or so. but i dont want it to go ahead without me.
can anyone suggest anything to get it delayed????
