Help sales of goods rights mobile phone !!!

Help please,

To cut a very long story short I have upgraded my phone through e2save and was supposed to receive a laptop of the spec toshiba i3 processor windows 8 n 4g I double checked this twice when the sales call was made (the salesman rang me) anyhow the laptop came and its no where near the spec I ordered I rang immediately I received it and they exchanged it for another which wasn't the right spec either
Now the 7 days has passed and the company have requested the voice recording of the original sale and confidently it's lost !!! They have all the others . They are now saying all they can do is cancel the contract which will mean I loose my number which I have had for years I don't want to do this what can I do??????

You can be restored to the position you were in before the deal - you have your money back and they have their goods. Talk to them about porting the number, you can't reasonably be refused AFAIK
  • Can't port the number as its been too long 14 days now the only option they can give me is to cancel n close the contract and the number !! tbh I just want the deal I was offered its easier ! Am I entitled to what I was promised ??
  • You can't prove what you were offered though, how would you enforce it?

They cant even devolve the account to a PAYG one when cancelling? Not entirely sure why they wont give you a PAC code, you can give them out even when a customer is still in contract but the account you have would need to stay active (as far as i remember) in order for the PAC code to work.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride
