Sky and Topcashback - rant

Have spent almost 2 hours on the phone this morning trying to get my £100 cashback from Sky, my order was placed in November 2012 and it is confirmed on TCB but not payable.
The call centre staff at Sky are less than helpful, obstructive in fact. There is no contact phone no for TCB and im seriously p*****d off now that i went with Sky and not Virgin.
I know some other forum users have had problems getting their Tcb - other than being persistant how can i get this money out of them? Surely this amounts to a breach of contract or false advertising at the very least if they dont/wont pay out?

It's absolutely nothing to do with Sky, the cashback is paid to you by TCB, so why don't you raise a ticket with them, and they will pursue it with Sky?
Cashbacks can frequently take 90-120 days or more to pay out, if it's tracked OK then there should be no issue.
What exactly do you mean by 'confirmed on TCB but not payable'? Do you mean, 'tracked but not yet paid'? Or that Sky have rejected it? If the latter, then raise a ticket as above.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

macman is correct here in saying that Sky would not be your best contact regarding cashback. They do actually pay the funds, but this is usually organised through a separate department in their company and the customer service team are often unaware of cashback offers and how they operate.
We do show an estimated payment speed on each transaction, but this is only an estimate and it can take longer. It is always best to get in touch with TopCashback directly in these circumstances and we will be able to chase up any delay on your behalf.

Op, if you looked before clicking-through, TCB actually states that if there are any issues with payment, you are to contact them & not Sky.
Btw, I went through TCB a few years back to get £60 for signing-up to '3'. Never did get the payment even after raising a ticket.Never Knowingly Understood.
